Box of Rough – sizes are approximate dimensions of box they’d fit into.
These are specimens of Utah wood that I find particularly interesting and attractive. All are all natural and as found with zero glue or fillers.



Box of Rough 1. Henry Mountains, South Slopes; Shitemaring Canyon – red ivory. Beautifully sculpted by wind and blowing sand. 13 by 11 by 6 cm; two pounds and two ounces. $125


Box of Rough 2. Utah; Chinle formation; Triassic- unidentified object. I have not been able to determine what this actually is. It seems somewhat frond-like. Note the swirling pattern on the exterior. 7 by 9 by 8 cm; two pounds. $50



Box of Rough 3. Henry Mountain area; Chinle formation; Triassic- Woodworthia/green. Super interesting green patterns on the exterior. Attractive patterns. Very rare. 13 by 9 by 8 cm; two pounds and one ounce. SOLD
