I looked through every slice they had shortly before the opening of the Tucson show a few decades ago. The French dealer was the largest dealer in natural materials from Madagascar. It took hours and out of hundreds, I selected two. This is one. Highest quality silicification. Completely solid. No glue or filler, an unusual state for a slice this large from Madagascar. Featured with a full page on page 128 of Ancient Forests. 20 by 25 cm polished face; 2 cm thick; four pounds and one ounce.
2. Ikitsy pink. Full round, cut on both ends and polished on the top. 6.5 by 7.5 cm polished face; 6.5 cm tall; one pound and six ounces.
