PW2120. Baccarat Classical Period Clematis blooming on vine. Museum Piece. Fabulous light blue clematis on vine. This beauty has six lovely blue buds intertwined on lovely green stems. This is one of Baccarat’s well-known designs. They made them in pink, white, blue in two shades, and in a variety of combinations, some with five and some with six buds. From the condition one would think it was made yesterday rather than 160 years ago or more. Concave base. It has been expertly polished to its original condition. It is a nice large and heavy weight; 3 1/16 inches in diameter, 2 1/4 inches tall; one pound and six ounces. The florals fit the glass perfectly. I have a few clematis I my garden and this design truly captures the way they grow. Beautiful. $1200
PW1046. Baccarat Classical Period Elegant Magnum Dog Rose in Coral Pink (circa 1850). This is a particularly large and nice example of this lovely lampworked flower over a star cut base, a Baccarat antique classic. The inner pink of the petals is exquisite. The leaves and stems are all well-made. Condition is nothing less than amazing as it’s all original and yet shows just a tiny amount of wear in the form of light surface scratches and wear to the basal rim. It must be in the top 1% in condition for original Baccarat antique weights. 3 1/4 inch diameter; 2 ¼ inch high dome; one pound and eight ounces. SOLD
