PW2138. Baccarat 1982 Museum piece. The design comprises nine rings. One ring includes a signature/date cane of “B1982”. Drawn-in staves. The bottom is marked with the Baccarat logo and engraved 1982 and 2 as the second weight they made that year.  Condition is excellent.  3 3/16 inch diameter; 2 1/4 inches tall; one pound, seven ounces.  $550

PW969. Baccarat Macedone, c. 1950s-or later. This was a staple from Baccarat from the 1950s and 1960s and perhaps later. It’s a simple but beautiful design, and you find them in a wide array of colors. The short cane segments in these are very clearly carefully arranged before being encased, so I don’t see them as “scrambled” or really as a medley. As they are sometimes called. We need a new name. Anyway, they are classy and timeless. Condition is excellent. 2 13/16 inch diameter; 1 7/8 inches tall; fifteen ounces. $150

PW1384. Baccarat Macedone, c. 1950s-or later, high dome. This was a staple from Baccarat from the 1950s and 1960s and perhaps later. It’s a simple but beautiful design, and you find them in a wide array of colors. Condition is excellent. It has those little protector feet on the base (easily removed). 2 7/8 inch diameter; 2 7/16 inches tall; one pound and five ounces. $150

PW1771. Rare Baccarat 1971 Star cane ten row concentric. One-of-a-kind. In addition to being an elegant weight with perfect stars, crisp canes, a marvelously perfectly centered mandala, and a nice touch in the final row with blue stars and green circles facing cheerily outward. 1971 B cane in setup. Flat base etched with logo; engraved 1971 and 220 (it was the 220th weight they made that year). Condition is excellent. 3 1/8 inch diameter; 2 3/16 inches tall; one pound and seven ounces.  $550  

PW2667. Baccarat 1972 stunning zodiac carpet ground in yellow. Each yellow cane has a white center which gives it a lighter appearance. Drawn-in staves. Cane “B1972” in the closepack. Etched with the Baccarat logo on the base and engraved “438” and “1972”. 3 3/16 inch diameter;  2 1/4 inches tall; one pound and seven ounces. Condition is excellent.  $550

PW614. Baccarat 1968 Close Concentric Museum piece. The design comprises eight rings. One ring includes a date cane of “1968”. Drawn-in staves that make the bottom especially attractive. The bottom is marked with the Baccarat logo. Condition is excellent, essentially pristine.  2 7/8 inch diameter; 1 7/8 inches tall; one pound and one ounce.  $500

PW1193. Rare Baccarat 1969 Zodiac Church Weight Museum Piece. Nicely balanced with deep color and attractive design in the layout. An all-around nice example of a ’69 Zodiac. Date cane 1969 in the setup and etched Baccarat logo on base. Condition is excellent, light wear. 3 1/8 inch diameter; 2 inches tall; one pound and five ounces.  $600 

PW1359. Baccarat Museum Piece 1972 Limited Edition. Squirrel Gridel five ring concentric on muslin with a ring of 18 Gridel (silhouette) canes. It is rare to see one of these in such perfect condition. Beautiful and perfectly executed. Condition is like new/excellent. Signature cane “B1972” and engraved on the base with “1972” and “359” which is the number of weights they made up to this one that year, not the number of squirrel weights. Etched Baccarat logo on base. 3 7/32 inch diameter; 2 3/16 inch height; one pound, eight ounces.  $400

PW2388. Baccarat 1970 10-ring 6-pointed star concentric closepack Museum piece. The probably unique design comprises ten rings in a mesmerizing mandala. It’s the only Baccarat weight I’ve seen with a six-pointed star cut into the base. One ring includes a date cane of “B 1970”. Drawn-in staves. The bottom is marked with the Baccarat logo “190” and “1970”. Condition is excellent with light shelf wear.  3 1/16 inch diameter; 1 3/4 inches tall; one pound and one ounce.  $600

PW3061. Baccarat 1970 9-ring Close Concentric Museum piece. The design comprises nine rings in a mesmerizing mandala. One ring includes a date cane of “B 1970”. Drawn-in staves. There is some soot in the base from the making. The bottom is marked with the Baccarat logo in 2 places and is engraved “127” and “1970”. Condition is excellent, essentially pristine – not even shelf wear.  3 inch diameter; 1 15/16 inches tall; one pound and three ounces.  $450

PW3127. Baccarat Magnum 1976 Monkey Man Gridel Cane limited edition.  Elaborately-constructed, seven-row concentric closepack with seventeen small Gridel canes and a big chubby monkey man in the center, over an opaline ground.
Condition is excellent with slight shelfwear. Etched with the Baccarat logo on the base and engraved “157” and “1976”. Signature cane “B1976” in the cane work. 3 3/8 inch diameter;  2 3/8 inches tall; one pound and eleven ounces.  $450

PW2162. Baccarat Magnum Museum Piece 1971 Limited Edition. Rooster Gridel four ring concentric on muslin with a ring of 18 Gridel (silhouette) canes. Excellent condition. PW2639. Baccarat 1989 signed four row spaced concentric over crystal ground. Etched with the Baccarat logo on the base. Signed with a cane “B1989”. 2 5/8 inch diameter;  1 7/8 inches tall; fourteen ounces. Condition is excellent.  $140

PW2770. Baccarat Museum Piece 1970 high dome with intertwined trefoil garlands over upset muslin filigree This paperweight is pictured in Baccarat Paperweights: Two Centuries of Beauty by Paul Dunlop, on page 176. Condition is excellent – this has obviously always been in the possession of a collector. This was the first of their limited edition weights – edition of 250 pieces – numbered 126 along with 1970 for the year, etched with the Baccarat logo twice, and has a cane with “1970 B in the setup”.  2 13/16 inch diameter; 2 1/8 inches tall; weight is one pound and two ounces.  $400

PW2845. Rare Baccarat 1975 Monkey Man zodiac carpet ground in green. Drawn in staves. Cane “1975 B” in the closepack. Engraved with 1975 and 249 and etched with the Baccarat logo on the base. 3 1/8 inch diameter;  2 1/4 inches tall; one pound and seven ounces. Condition is excellent.  $500

PW2897. Rare Baccarat 1970 ten row concentric closepack. One-of-a-kind. Stunning, with three rows of shadow-effect canes—clear-centered canes that change with the light— and all put to good use. Their use allows the artist and additional avenue for creativity. Intricate design with 1970 B cane in setup. Flat base etched with logo; engraved 1970 and 140 (it was the 140th weight they made that year). Condition is extra fine with a few barely noticeable light scratches and shelf wear. 2 15/16 inch diameter; 1 15/16 inches tall; one pound and one ounce.  $400
