PW2618. Baccarat 1986 numbered edition (92 of 200). Stunning magnum white floral bouquet set over honeycomb above a translucent blue base. The honeycomb is beautifully realistic – evocative of nature. Engraved with the Baccarat logo on the base and “92” “1993”. This paperweight (this very one not just one of the other 199) is pictured in the most complete Baccarat book ever published, Baccarat Paperweights by Paul Dunlop, on page 202. 3 1/4 inch diameter; 2 1/4 inches tall; one pound and eight ounces. Condition is excellent, like new. $550

PW2664. Baccarat. Limited Edition NUMBER 45 of 250. Butterfly and clematis on translucent aqua ground. Etched with the Baccarat logo on the base and engraved “45/250” and “1977”. 3 1/8 inch diameter;  2 1/16 inches tall; one pound and five ounces. Condition is as if you took a time machine to a Parisian shop in 1977 and bought it new.  $550

PW2740. Baccarat. 1983 Limited Edition NUMBER 77 of 175. Blue gentians on translucent amber ground. Three blooms and a bud float in a world of gorgeous amber light. This paperweight is pictured in Baccarat Paperweights by Paul Dunlop on page 196. Etched with the Baccarat logo on the base and engraved “77/175” and “1975”. 3 3/16 inch diameter;  2 5/16 inches tall; one pound and eight ounces. Condition perfect on dome with slight shelfwear.  $450

PW2748. Baccarat 1971 blue flower with bud and greenery. The  unusual color ground appears to comprise a thin layer of white over pistachio green, resulting is a subdued pale green color. It was a time of much action in the paperweight section of the famous glassworks in Nancy, France. This is a one-of-a-kind paperweight. It is from the same collection as the weights in the Baccarat book, but was not figured.  Etched twice with the Baccarat logo on the base and engraved 352. Date cane in setup B1971. 3 1/8 inch diameter;  2 1/4 inches tall; one pound and six ounces. Condition is perfect on the dome with possibly a tiny bit of shelfwear.  $375

PW2759. Baccarat 1971 one-of-a-kind red, white, and blue floral bouquet over a sunny bright yellow ground. Excellent play of colors. I don’t believe I’ve seen another base this color. You can see a swirl from color mixing on the base like you might see in a can of paint that has sat for a while and is being stirred. Etched twice with the Baccarat logo on the base and engraved “491” “1971”. This paperweight is pictured in Baccarat Paperweights by Paul Dunlop on page 179. 3 1/8 inch diameter;  2 1/4 inches tall; one pound and six ounces. Condition is perfect dome and negligible shelfwear on the base. SOLD

PW2757. Rare Baccarat 1971 Magnum Three Flower Bouquet on blue ground. This weight is featured in Paul Dunlop’s Baccarat book on page 178. (Antique Baccarat carpet grounds generally fetch between ten and twenty thousand dollars and are nowhere near as perfect as these.) Drawn in staves. Cane “B1971” in the closepack. Etched with the Baccarat logo on the base and “507” “1971”. 3 3/8 inch diameter;  2 inches tall; one pound and nine ounces. Condition is excellent, more like amazing.  $750

PW3150. Rare Magnum Baccarat 1970 yellow flower and greenery. This is a one-of-a-kind paperweight from the apex of Baccarat’s early modern era. The unusual flower and plant float above a dark blue semitransparent ground. Etched twice with the Baccarat logo on the base and engraved 96 and 1970. Signature cane B1970 in setup. Condition is perfect dome with negligible shelfwear. 3 1/4 inch diameter;  2 1/4 inches tall; one pound and eight ounces.  $550
