PW2802. Baccarat Modern Magnum Museum Piece 1995 Limited Edition of 100. Semis de roses fond jaune. This is a stunning piece of art glass. In 1995 Baccarat made seven limited edition weights – all of them rose themed (Coeur de rose) and four of the seven set within three rings of millefiori. These four blossoms – two pink and two peach (Dunlop calls it amber) and bud are as perfect as art glass roses have ever been – stunning and floating above a comforting light yellow over white ground. This exact same paperweight is pictured in Baccarat Paperweights: Two Centuries of Beauty by Paul Dunlop on page 224. Condition is excellent/pristine/as if you bought it from the Baccarat factory store this morning. Has box and certificate. They made 100; I am certain none are in better condition. It went from Baccarat to a collector to me and was always protected as a valuable collectible. Dahlia pompon bleu outre-mer (ultramarine blue dahlia pompon on opal ground. 1980 Baccarat collector weights comprised six of these mounded dahlias in a variety of colors. They were small editions of 75 each and were hugely successful. This paperweight is pictured in Baccarat Paperweights by Paul Dunlop on page 191. Limited edition of 75 and numbered 69/75 along with 1980 for the year and etched with the Baccarat logo. I am certain none are in better condition.
